The Purpose Driven Life has been a big hit in Christian circles with Bible study groups and whole congregatations reading through it. It is more or less a guide book of Christian living. I found it it be extremely practical and well supported by scripture, but lacking in spirituality. To attempt to put the lessons taught into practice without the strength, guidance, and energy of the Holy Spirit would be an exercise in futility. Having said that, if you allowed Holy Spirit to lead you through this book, I believe you would see God doing incredibile things in your life and the lives of those around you.
