This book was a Christmas gift from my wife as a book I would like to read. It turns out she was right. In “Fire and Ice” Michael Adams compares values held within and between Canadians and Americans and maps out where those values are headed. It was extremely interesting to see the results of empirical data (of course with interpretation) as opposed to the usual speculation I hear or perceive myself when considering the differences between myself and other Canadians and Americans. I found it to be very enlightening and recommend this book to those interested in sociology.
