Christine and I drove down to Calgary last night to see Colin James at the Jubilee. He is someone I’ve been wanting to see for quite some time and I am glad that now I have. Colin performed with his band, The Little Big Band, which consisted of piano/organ player, drummer, tenor saxaphone, baritone saxaphone, trumpet, and trombone. Colin and the band were very tight and each member had several opportunities to display their particular skill. I was a bit disappointed that Colin didn’t perform any of his pre Little Big Band material, but overall I had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the show.

Saturday, November 4th, 2006Back in Edmonton
Saturday, September 9th, 2006It’s been a while since I’ve made a post, but we’re back in Edmonton. We flew from Tokyo to St. John’s after Bible school and visited with Christine’s dad for a few days. Then we picked up Admiral Floridale and drove to my mom’s in Spedden (Alberta) and then continued on to Edmonton where we’ve been for the last couple months. We’ve both found jobs and more importantly I got my server up and running again. I’ve got a lot of trips left to document…
